Our Adoption Process

A clear, careful placement process designed to protect every puppy and support prepared families.

The ImperialPaws process is intentionally measured. Families can browse, apply, track status, and receive an invoice only after approval. This keeps communication organized and helps prevent rushed or confusing placements.

1. Browse

Review photos, status, care notes, and profile details before applying.

2. Apply

Submit one accurate application for the puppy you are interested in.

3. Track

Use your private tracking code to follow review status and next steps.

1. Browse Available Puppies

Visitors are welcome to explore available, reserved, and sold puppies at any time. Each listing is designed to show current availability, photos, puppy details, and care information where available.

2. Submit an Adoption Application

When you find a puppy you are interested in, submit an application from that puppy's detail page. The form helps us learn about your household, location, and readiness for the breed.

The system prevents the same buyer from repeatedly applying for the same puppy when the same email address or phone number is used.

Submitting an application does not guarantee approval, reserve a puppy, or create a payment obligation.

3. Application Review

Each application is reviewed individually. We may ask follow-up questions when more context is needed. Placement decisions are based on the puppy's welfare, timing, buyer preparedness, and overall fit.

4. Status Tracking

After submitting, you receive a tracking code. Keep it private and use it on the tracking page to view current status. Tracking helps avoid missed updates and keeps communication organized.

5. Approval and Invoice

If an application is approved, the admin can create a clear adoption invoice linked to that application. The invoice shows the puppy, buyer information, line item, amount, due date when used, and adoption note.

6. Final Placement Steps

After approval, we provide guidance for the next steps. Final placement remains subject to agreed arrangements, care expectations, and any written health or placement documentation provided by ImperialPaws.

Thoughtful placements take time. A professional adoption process should feel organized, transparent, and centered on the puppy's long-term well-being.
